If an event is a "member-only" event would I need to wait 10 days before hosting another event?
No. If you host an event at a location (whether your chapter facility or not) and have the entire location reserved, and no non-member is present (with the exception of location/event staff), then you do not need to adhere to the 10 day waiting period.
If I host an event with non-members, can I host chapter specific meetings in-person during the 10-day waiting period?
Yes, you may engage with your own organizational members in meetings throughout this 10-day waiting period.
Will our members be required to take a COVID-19 test?
We highly encourage your members to test for COVID-19 if they believe they have been exposed to the COVID-19 virus or are exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19.
What if someone within our organization tests positive for the COVID-19 virus after having attended our event?
Please have the individual complete the FSU Daily Wellness Check and follow your organizational protocol on managing COVID-19 positive tests at chapter functions. Additionally, you will want to email covid19@fsu.edu a copy of your guest/attendance list to expedite the contact tracing process. For more information please visit the FSU SAFER Team website. Also note, as of Friday April 2, 2021, University Housing is discontinuing its Isolation Housing program. Any student residing in a chapter facility that needs to quarantine will need to find alternative means of quarantining.
