Interfraternity Council (IFC)

About

The Interfraternity Council at Florida State University is the governing body for 15 men’s fraternities on campus. The Interfraternity Council is dedicated to the academic and social development of its respective fraternities and their members.

How to Join?

IFC hosts rush each fall and spring semester. Registration is mandatory to participate. Please visit the IFC website for dates, how to register, and other requirements.

Multicultural Greek Council (MGC)

About

The Multicultural Greek Council is the governing body for 8 culturally-based fraternities and sororities on campus. These organizations all strive to benefit the FSU community through philanthropy and community service, while celebrating the diverse identities of their members.

How to Join?

Organizations in MGC choose which semesters they will recruit new members. All individuals interested in joining an MGC organization must attend an MGC Orientation the same semester they intend to begin new member education. Dates can be found on the Upcoming Events and Meetings page.

National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC)

About

The National Pan-Hellenic Council consists of nine predominantly African-American fraternities and sororities. These organizations are committed to scholarship, community service, and cultural enrichment.

How to Join?

Organizations in NPHC choose which semesters they will conduct intake. All individuals interested in joining an NPHC organization must attend an NPHC Orientation the same semester they begin new member education. Dates can be found on the Upcoming Events and Meetings page.

Panhellenic Association (PH)

About

The Panhellenic Association is the governing body for 17 women's sororities on campus.

How to Join?

Formal Recruitment takes place before the beginning of each fall semester. Registration is mandatory to participate. Please visit the Panhellenic website for dates, how to register, and other requirements. Continuous Open Bidding (COB) takes place in the spring semester. Individuals interested in participating must attend a COB Orientation during the semester they participate. Dates can be found on the Upcoming Events and Meetings page.
